What is the LMA?

Labour Market Activation (LMA) is a government run back to education programme designed to help improve the skills, qualifications and employability of the unemployed and those made redundant.

Eligible participants can enrol on one of a number of part-time courses without having to pay course fees and while keeping their Jobseekers Allowance / Benefit payments.

Am I Eligible?
Eligible participants must have been unemployed and on the live register for at least 6 months prior to starting the course or have an entitlement to statutory redundancy.
What Courses Can I Do?
The Institutes of Technology have a wide variety of part-time courses that you can apply for listed here on BlueBrick. Use the search box on the left to search for LMA courses or the course browser on the right to find a course that interests you.
How to apply?
